“With the introduction of the largest Singaporean corporation to Georgia, the investment potential of our country has been demonstrated with another large-scale project,” – the Director of the Enterprise Georgia Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mikheil Khidureli said, regarding the entry of one of the largest chemical companies, Indorama Corporation, into Georgia.
"In the coming years, the corporation plans to invest significant financial resources in the direction of modernization, development and expansion of production of the enterprise", - Mikheil Khidureli said. According to him, by introducing one of the leaders of world-scale chemical production to the Georgian market, the Agency exceeded all the indicators outlined in the strategy.
As Mikheil Khidureli stated, the company has been studying the investment climate and opportunities of Georgia for years, which the investment team of the Enterprise Georgia Agency was actively involved in.
The Singaporean company, which has more than 160 enterprises in 38 countries of the world and employs more than 45,000 people, has acquired the Rustavi nitrogen plant.
