A government meeting was held under the leadership of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili.
The government officials discussed 10 issues included in the agenda.
At the government session, the decree on two projects of wind and solar power plants was approved. An agreement on the full technical and economic research will be signed for the 30 MW wind power plant, which is planned to be built in Shida Kartli region, provided for by public and private legislation. The amount of investment required for the project exceeds 45 million US dollars.
As for the solar power plant, it is planned to be built in Gori municipality, Shida Kartli region. The power of the station is 6,259 MW, and the investment value is 4.06 million US dollars. The contract on the project will be signed on the start of the construction phase.
