Particularly, according to the statistics published on the NBG website, last year in December, the revenue from foreign travelers amounted to $363.3 million, while in the same period of 2021 this figure was $126.1 million. In the pandemic December 2020, the tourism revenue amounted to 14.5 million US dollars.
It is noteworthy that in December 2022, Georgia received more income from international travel than in the same period of 2019 prior to the pandemic. In December 2019, the country received 217.2 million US dollars in income from foreign travelers.
