"Wheat import into Georgia decreased by 6.2%, in 11 months of last year the import amounted to $52 million, while in the same period of last year it was $56 million," - Galt&Taggart said in the monthly overview of the raw materials market.
In December 2023, the price of wheat increased by 2.6% on a monthly basis, and a 7.1%-decrease was recorded on an annual basis. As for the export of nitrogen fertilizers, it decreased by 40.9% in 11 months of last year. The export value of nitrogen fertilizers decreased by 40.9% year-on-year in 11 months of 2023, which is associated with a sharp decrease in prices. At the same time, the export volume increased by 0.5% annually to 409,000 tons,” - the review said.
