
As the Infrastructure Ministry of Georgia reports, about 400 projects worth $14mln have been implemented in the western Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti regions of Georgia in 2022.
The infrastructural projects included renovation of local kindergartens, cultural and tourist sites as well as improvement of road infrastructure and water supply systems.
“Various infrastructure projects” had been underway this year in all four municipalities of the region “depending on the needs of the specific municipalities. One-year projects are fully completed, in addition to parts of the transition projects that were due to be completed during 2022”, - the Deputy Infrastructure Minister Ilia Begiashvili said.
