The National Environmental Agency has issued a weather warning for Eastern Georgia, effective from the late evening of June 22 through the afternoon of June 23.

According to forecasts, the region may face heavy short-term rainfall, thunderstorms, possible hail, and intermittent strong westerly winds during this period.

Officials warn that the anticipated weather conditions could lead to flash floods in small rivers and trigger landslides or mudslides in hilly and mountainous areas. The risk level has been classified as medium.
