The European Union Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi, tweeted the partnership between Georgian authorities and the EU was preparing the country for membership in the bloc.
Oliver Varhelyi noted the vast majority of the country’s citizens were for the EU membership.
“This is a very strong mandate, not only for the government, but the entire political elite of the country, and everybody who is active in working on this. We make Georgia ready for becoming a member of the EU”, - Oliver Varhelyi stated.
