
“Transport route Black Sea-Caspian Sea will be put into operation as soon as possible. This is an initiative on the development of which we are working together with Georgia and Turkmenistan,” - the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Luminiţa Odobescu, said at a joint press conference in Bucharest. According to her, this initiative allows attracting new flows of products from the South Caucasus, Central Asia and the Pacific Ocean region.
"We discussed the acceleration of efforts by our countries to make the international transport route Black Sea-Caspian Sea operational as soon as possible. This is an initiative on the development of which we are working together with Georgia and Turkmenistan. It will allow us to attract new flows of cargo from the South Caucasus, Central Asia and the Pacific Ocean region, and turn our ports in the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea into important transit centers on the East and West axis," - Luminiţa Odobescu said.
