Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, discussed the possibility of resuming direct flights from London during a meeting with the Easyjet company. It was noted at the meeting that the restoration of direct flights would help further increase the flow of tourists to the country.
"We had a number of important meetings within the framework of the exhibition, but I would single out Easyjet, we are currently negotiating with, to have direct air traffic between London and Tbilisi. Of course, Britain is a very important tourist market for us, and the presence of direct flights will especially contribute to the growth of tourist flows," said the Deputy Minister.
