“Since the day of the Georgian Dream’s coming to power, we have halved unemployment, reduced poverty by three times, we are leaders with the pace of economic growth not only in the region but throughout Europe,” Shalva Papuashvili, the Georgian Parliament Speaker wrote on Facebook.

According to the Speaker, the progress explains the population’s support for the ruling party in local and national elections for the last 12 years.

Shalva Papuashvili believes the GD party will secure a majority of votes in the October 26 parliamentary elections.
