The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia responded to the situation faced by the company "Borjomi" - Georgian mineral water giant. As Levan Davitashvili explained, active work is underway to solve the problem, and the final decision will be agreed with international partners.
"We have been involved in the process from the very first day, but since we are not the only party to the process and there are also regulators from different countries whom we have a non-disclosure agreement with; it is a legal process that we can not make public without the partner's consent. So I can not provide more details at this stage, however I would like to tell you that specifically our Ministry and government are involved in the negotiation process. In this case, we are clarifying the legal details in order to make decisions that will help "Borjomi" and meet the interests of the company and its employees, and on the other hand will be agreed with our international partners," - said Davitashvili.
