According to the bank, 95.2% of remittances to Georgia come from the 21 largest partner countries; from each country the remittances in December exceeded $ 1 million. 95.7% of all remittances in December last year were sent from the same 21 countries.

In December 2021, 33.3 million USD (103.3 million GEL) was sent abroad from Georgia, which is 35.1% more than the same figure (24.7 million USD) of December 2020.
