
According to the preliminary data of 2022, the volume of foreign direct investments in Adjara amounted to 116.5 million US dollars, which is 37% higher than the previous year's figure.
"This positive trend of business activity is due to the peace policy carried out by the Georgian government. Consequently, the country maintains a stable business environment. This is the reason for the confidence we see from both local and foreign investors. We will actively continue both economic and investment policies in order to further improve last year's results," - Tornike Rizhvadze said.
An upward trend in the quarterly indicators of the business sector was observed in 2022 as well. According to the data of the IV quarter, compared to the previous year, turnover increased by 20%, output by 16%, and employment - by 8%.
