As she said, the Ministries of Economy and Finance, as well as the Government of Adjara have issued the instructions to take care of the successful operation of the maritime tourism season.
"The challenges are emerging in this direction and it should be noted that the pandemic had an impact both in terms of service and infrastructure. Nevertheless, both the city and the municipalities are actively working to ensure the tourist season is successful. 
The main tourist destinations in Batumi are, for example, Batumi Boulevard, the city streets, which is important from a tourism point of view to be in order and we work on this matter in coordination with the relevant agencies. It is also important for tourists visiting Batumi to find diversified tourism products so that they can spend an interesting vacation. For this, we have created different tourist products, both in the city and in the municipalities, for example, this year for the first time a visitor will be able to enjoy canyoning in Adjara.
The Botanic Garden has also been updated with additional services and attractions, such as a zipline. The trails in the national parks have also been renovated. The access paths to the new waterfalls were also arranged and added. The private sector has been active and, during the pandemic, more than 100 new tourist facilities have been opened in the region, which will offer services to visitors this year," - Zoidze stated.
