Based on the same data, in the 4th quarter of last year, the number of visits made by foreigners to Georgia totaled 1,343,303, therefore, 1.1% of them came from Chinese citizens.

To be reminded, a visa-free regime for Chinese citizens took effect in Georgia on September 11, 2023. On February 26, it became known that the People's Republic of China decided to introduce a visa-free regime for Georgian citizens. According to Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, by this decision, Georgian citizens will be able to spend 30 consecutive days in China without a visa.
