Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili stated that Georgia’s visa-free travel with the EU is secure and based on the country’s consistent fulfillment of its obligations under the Georgian Dream government.

“Georgia earned this privilege through its own efforts,” she said during a press briefing, adding that any suggestion of suspension is politically motivated.

Botchorishvili criticized what she called the “instrumentalisation” of EU relations, emphasizing that Georgia has fully met its commitments, including those under the Association Agreement.
