Visa-free traffic between Georgia and Pakistan has been launched. The agreement will concern the movement of citizens who hold diplomatic and official/service passports.
Based on the Legislative Gazette, the said agreement entered into force on April 2, 2024.
"Citizens of each Party State holding valid diplomatic and official/service passports are entitled to enter, transit through, leave and remain in the territory of the other Party State without a visa for a period not exceeding 90 days in any 180-day period.
Citizens holding diplomatic and official/service passports may enter and leave the territory of the host country through a border crossing point open to international traffic," the document states.
To be informed, the agreement between the Government of Georgia and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on exemption from the obligation to obtain a visa for holders of diplomatic and official/service passports was signed on September 21, 2023.
