The export price of Georgian wine has increased. In the 11th month of 2023, among the export products of Georgia, natural grape wines rank 2nd. According to official statistics, this year, 83.1 tons of wine worth 239.3 million US dollars were exported from the country. In January-November 2022, the export of wine from Georgia was 94.7 tons worth 231.9 million US dollars. Compared to the same period of the previous year, the value of exports increased by 3.2%, while the volume decreased by 12.2% compared to last year.
Traditionally, Georgia's top trading partners by wine exports is Russia, which accounts for 65.7% of exports. This year, Georgia sold 157.3 million USD worth of wine in the Russian market. As for other export markets, the list is as follows:
Russia - 58.2 tons worth 157.3 million US dollars;
Poland - 5.3 tons worth 13.3 million US dollars;
Ukraine - 4.7 tons worth 13.2 million US dollars;
China - 2.8 tons worth 10.3 million US dollars;
Kazakhstan - 2.7 tons worth 8.5 million US dollars;
Belarus - 2.6 tons worth 7.5 million US dollars;
The USA - 764 tons worth 4.8 million USD;
Germany - 948 tons worth 4.3 million US dollars;
Latvia - 1.06 tons worth 3.6 million US dollars;
Lithuania - 627.8 tons worth 850.3 thousand US dollars.
