Joe Biden, the United States President, extended his congratulatory message on Georgia’s Independence Day by saying the US stood together with Georgia to help advance its aspirations for further Euro-Atlantic integration and continued to support the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
"The people of our two countries have an enduring and unbreakable bond based on our close people-to-people ties and our shared values - including democracy and rule of law”, - the US President pointed out, adding his country would stand against Russia's aggression, including its unjust occupation of Georgian territory and efforts to stoke conflict and division.
To be reminded, the Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili published her American counterpart's letter on Sunday, in which Biden also highlighted the partnership between the countries, which has helped to advance peace and prosperity across the region and around the world, and noted he looked forward to strengthening the partnership between the two states even further.
