The U.S. Embassy in Georgia has announced that, due to the suspension of appropriations, its Facebook page will not be updated regularly until full operations are restored.

The embassy stated that information regarding services and operational status will be available on their website.

“Due to the suspension of appropriations, this page will not be updated regularly until full operation resumes, except for urgent security matters,” the embassy explained.

They also assured that scheduled passport and visa services at U.S. embassies and consulates worldwide will continue as circumstances allow.

The embassy advises visiting travel.state.gov for the latest information on services and operational status.
