"As we look ahead to 2022, let’s take a moment to appreciate all we accomplished. Our heartfelt thanks to all the Americans and Georgians, who are doing so much to make Georgia a stable, prosperous democracy,” Degnan said.
Kelly Degnan said the challenges of 2021 proved that handling difficulties requires joint work.
“The trial we experience in 2021 as a global community tested our limits, and we enforced again that no country can alone again. We need to work together more than ever before. In 2021, we began to see glimmers of hope, the arrival of life-saving vaccines, the recovery of economies, the healing of the sick, and the reunion of the loved ones and friends separated for far too long. This year brought us the chance to mourn our losses and look ahead to better days,” US Ambassador stated.
