“The Georgian-Czech business forum is being held in Tbilisi, where about 200 Georgian and Czech companies are participating,” - the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry reports.
The event was opened by the President of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce Giorgi Pertaia, the Chairman of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, David Songhulashvili, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Irakli Nadareishvili, the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Miloš Vystrčil, and the Vice-President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce.
After the forum, bilateral business meetings are planned between representatives of Czech and Georgian companies, having the opportunity to gain investment, discuss future cooperation and expand business.
The forum is being attended by more than 20 leading Czech companies from the sectors of construction and development, construction of small hydropower plants, legal services and information technologies, eco-tourism, tourism, medical technology, energy, spatial planning, transport systems, energy supply, water supply and others.
The main task of the visit of the Czech business delegation is to find partners in Georgia and deepen investments and business ties.
The event is organized by the Chambers of Commerce of Georgia and the Czech Republic, as well as the Embassy of the Czech Republic, within the framework of the Czech Business Mission.
