The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia reported on Thursday that the Foreign Ministers of Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Iran also congratulated the new Foreign Minister on taking up the post.

UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azule expressed her gratitude for the constructive role that Georgia is playing in cooperation with UNESCO.

“Georgia actively supports the Organization’s efforts to promote education, culture, science and freedom of expression,” said UNESCO Director-General in a congratulatory letter.
