A UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili returned to his homeland with a title belt.

He became the UFC champion on 15 September after defeating Sean O’Malley by unanimous decision (49-46, 48-47, 48-47).

Dvalishvili has 18 wins in 22 mixed fights in total.

“I am Georgian, Georgia has given me everything, I am fighting for my country and I am ready to sacrifice myself. I am happy to make Georgian fans happy, ”Dvalishvili said.
