Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze has underscored the significance of high-level diplomatic visits, referring to the recent arrival of the President of the United Arab Emirates in Georgia as a pivotal moment for the country’s economic future.
In comments to the media, Kaladze pointed to the substantial Arab investment—estimated at around $6 billion—in Tbilisi and the Adjara region. He emphasized that this investment will be instrumental in driving economic development and job creation.
“It’s no coincidence that such a high-profile visit took place in Georgia,” Kaladze stated. “These types of meetings are extremely important. We’re talking about an unprecedented $6 billion investment in our country—specifically in Tbilisi and Adjara. This is a very welcome development that will undoubtedly lead to the creation of new jobs and a stronger economy, with wide-reaching benefits for Georgia.”
