This is a tremendous achievement and we enthusiastically welcome the European Commission’s recommendation on Georgia’s candidate status,” said U.S. Ambassador to Georgia, Robin Dunnigan in her address to the citizens of Georgia outside the Orbeliani Palace following the European Commission’s decision to recommend that Georgia be granted EU candidate status.
