The Minister of Interior of Turkiye, Ali Yerlikaya, visited Georgia on an official trip, accompanied by a delegation. He was warmly received by Georgia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze.

During the visit, the two ministers laid a wreath at the memorial for police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty, located at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The ceremony included the playing of the national anthems of both Georgia and Turkiye.

The event was attended by Mahmut Demirtaş, Chief of the Turkish National Police, as well as Georgia’s Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs and other senior officials from both countries’ agencies.
