Turkish airline Pegasus started operating at the Kutaisi International Airport. The United Airports of Georgia has successfully completed the process of long and difficult negotiations with the airline.
Consequently, direct flights from the Kutaisi airport to Istanbul will be performed three times a week.
Pegasus made its first flight from Istanbul on December 18 night and brought 142 passengers to Kutaisi. Symbolic gifts were distributed to the first passengers of the flight at the Davit Aghmashenebeli Airport.
