
According to the Health Ministry of Georgia, the bilateral meeting focused on the strategic partnership between Turkey and Georgia.
"The parties discussed joint projects in the field of healthcare and discussed the opportunities for further development of cooperation. The main focus of the meeting was on the import of high quality medicines from Turkey to Georgia. The parties agreed on even closer cooperation in the field of medical services and pharmaceuticals. The visit of the Turkish Minister of Health to Georgia has been planned.
Zurab Azarashvili's official visit to Turkey continues. The Minister will visit the leading Turkish enterprises and get acquainted with the specifics of their work. It will also receive detailed information about the Turkish pharmaceutical industry from the Association of Pharmaceutical Enterprises.
The Head of the Drug Inspection Division of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency, Nana Shashiashvili, the Head of Organizational Division of Administration Referral of the Health Ministry,Khatuna Chachava, and the Head of the Internal Audit Division, Zurab Dvali, are on an official visit to Turkey together with the Health Minister of Georgia.
