Imports of construction fittings have increased. According to Geostat, last year Georgia imported 5,621 tons ($ 23.052 million) of fittings, while 4,588 tons ($ 17.714 million) - last year.

It should be noted that one of the main importers of construction fittings is Ukraine, where, as a result of the Russian invasion, war is now underway.

Top 10 countries importing construction fittings to Georgia in 2021 are as follows:

Turkey - 2,495 tons (9.868 million USD);

China - 2,178 tons (6.383 million USD);

Poland - 268.2 tons (1.360 million USD);

Hong Kong - 156.3 tons (385.2 thousand USD);

Ukraine - 105.3 tons (869.7 thousand USD);

Hungary - 90.5 tons (890.3 thousand USD);

Germany - 81.0 tons (913.5 thousand USD);

Austria - 41.9 tons (390 thousand USD);

Italy - 38.5 tons (459.2 thousand USD);

Uzbekistan - 37 tons (123.1 thousand USD).
