Tsitsinatela Park in Shekvetili, Western Georgia, is preparing to reopen following extensive renovations—the most ambitious transformation in the park’s history. Spearheaded by Starring Georgia, the project aims to modernize the beloved amusement park while enhancing comfort, accessibility, and visitor experience.

According to Starring Georgia, the renovation includes a complete overhaul of both interior and exterior facades, upgraded entrances and ticket offices, and significant improvements to all rides and attractions through new visual, audio, and technological features. Three major attractions are being fully restored, and operational booths will receive modern updates. The Dinosaur Park will be redesigned with a fresh concept for a more engaging visitor experience.

Catering facilities are also being revitalized. Three food courts will be entirely renovated, featuring updated furnishings, menus, and designs. The karting area will gain a new grandstand and eight brand-new vehicles, enhancing the adrenaline-filled experience for visitors.

Green spaces are being expanded, with the planting of new vegetation and the installation of decorative railings spanning 2,000 meters. Additional upgrades include renovated benches and lighting, improved restrooms, and the creation of two designated smoking areas equipped with modern amenities. Accessibility is a major focus, with the park becoming fully navigable for individuals with disabilities. Security measures will also be strengthened to ensure a safe environment.

The renovation places strong emphasis on community involvement and sustainability. “We source materials locally and employ workers from the surrounding area,” said Tsitsi Iashvili, Manager of Starring Georgia. “Our local team, which also worked on the Black Sea Arena, is managing the design and visual updates. We’re committed to reusing materials wherever possible.”

Since its opening in 2006, Tsitsinatela has been a favorite family destination, spanning 14.5 hectares. This landmark renovation promises to transform it into a vibrant, accessible, and modern leisure hub for all generations.
