Mamuka Mdinaradze, Executive Secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream party, stated that U.S. President Donald Trump’s claim that the Russia-Ukraine war could have been prevented validated the party’s stance despite opposition criticism.

He noted that discussions once deemed pro-Russian or traitorous were now openly acknowledged, emphasizing that “truth always finds its way.”

Trump's remarks came in response to Ukrainian President Zelenskyy’s criticism over Kyiv’s exclusion from U.S.-Russia talks in Saudi Arabia, asserting, “You should have never started this war. You could have made a deal.”
