According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), the country imported 16,085 trucks valued at $198.4 million during the period from January to November 2024, setting a 15-year record. In comparison, during the same period in 2023, Georgia imported 14,491 trucks worth $154.185 million.

The primary sources of these truck imports are China, Germany, Turkey, the Netherlands, and France.

Re-exports of trucks have also reached record levels. In the period from January to November 2024, Georgia exported 4,683 trucks valued at $54.717 million, compared to 4,024 trucks valued at $43.052 million during the same period in 2023.
