The Mastercard beach, which has already become a tradition, will welcome guests in Batumi from July.
In 2020, the Mastercard beach was opened in Batumi for the first time. To support domestic tourism and respond to the global pandemic, the world leader in payments has offered invaluable moments to loyal customers.
This year, for the third time, the Mastercard beach is waiting for guests. The only sandy beach in Batumi will offer tourists a children's playground, an open bar, cold cocktails, free internet, a special photo zone and daily musical events throughout the season.
Based on the experience of the past years, the Mastercard beach is a favorite place of Georgian and foreign tourists.
The fact that Mastercard is especially trying to strengthen the field of tourism is not news for the Georgian society. Recently, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the technology company and USAID's Economic Security Program. The purpose of the memorandum is to promote the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Georgia, the growth of the digital economy and financial inclusion. The main target areas are tourism, E-Commerce and Fintech ecosystem.
By providing relevant data, knowledge and information, the companies will promote tourism and strengthen the necessary marketing policies. By developing a 'digital payment experience', Mastercard will help boost cashless transactions across the country.
The partner of the mentioned cooperation is the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
