Tourism revenues of Georgia increased to $3.6 bln in 9M24 - Galt & Taggart

Galt & Taggart notes in the report, that tourism revenues between January and September 2024 equaled USD 3.6 billion, which was an annual increase of 11.3%.
According to the investment bank, the country received USD 450 million from tourism only last month.
"According to our estimation, in September 2024, revenues from tourism increased by 7.4% annually amounting to to 450 million USD. In total, we estimate tourism receipts to reach USD 3.6 billion in January-September 2024, an 11.3% year-over-year increase,” - Galt & Taggart noted in the weekly review.
Galt & Taggart predicts that tourism receipts will reach USD 4.4 billion in 2024 (up from $4.1 billion in 2023).
This year the government expects to earn USD 4.5 billion from tourism.
