According to the National Tourism Agency of Georgia, there were 2,123,816 international visits in Georgia in the first two quarters of 2024, marking a 10% increase year-on-year.

“Tourist visits are increasing from EU countries and the Persian Gulf as well as new tourist markets, India and China. The number of international travelers and tourist visits is calculated according to the methodology developed in line with the recommendation of the World Tourism Organization and comprises already made and completed visits,” the Agency said.
