As of the end of November 2022, the banking sector in Georgia is represented by 14 commercial banks, including 13 - foreign-controlled banks.
In November 2022, compared to the previous month, the total assets of Georgian commercial banks (in current prices) increased by GEL 277.5 million, (or by 0.4 %) and constituted GEL 67.5 billion (exchange rate effect excluded above mentioned indicator increased by 1.2%).
The banking sector's equity capital equals GEL 9.1 billion, which makes up 13.4% of the commercial banks total assets.
