In January-July 2022, the leader of air cargo shipments in Georgia is still the Turkish cargo airline Turkish Cargo.
As the Civil Aviation Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia reported, during 7 months, Turkish Cargo transported 2,231,874 tons of cargo through the Tbilisi International Airport.
In terms of air cargo transportation, Cargolux Airlines of Luxembourg ranks 2nd in the Georgian air market. In January-July, the airline handled 1,322,534 tons of cargo in the air cargo market of Georgia.
Also, the new Georgian cargo company Georgian Airlines is the leading company in terms of air cargo transportation in Georgia, occupying the third position in the TOP-5 list; Georgian Airlines transported 819,921 tons of cargo through the Tbilisi International Airport in January-July.
According to statistical data of 7 months, the charter airline Continental Airlines (FlyPRO) is in the fourth position in terms of cargo flow through the Tbilisi International Airport, which transported 688,253 tons of cargo through the Tbilisi International Airport during the reporting period.
The Georgian cargo air carrier Myway Airlines ranks fifth in the rating; in January-July 2022, it handled 407,616 tons of cargo in the Georgian cargo market.
Therefore, the ranking of the TOP-5 cargo airlines based on transported cargo is as follows:
