In 8 months of 2023, Georgia’s trade turnover with Russia amounted to 1,686,897,800 US dollars. Russia is one of the most important trading partners of Georgia, and only Turkey is ahead of it.
According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), export from Georgia to Russia increased by 15.3%, and import from there increased by 14.7%. In particular, in January-August, Georgia exported products worth 461,385,700 US dollars to and imported products worth 1,225,512,100 US dollars to Russia.
