
In January-February 2023, Armenia became Georgia’s top trading partner by exports with 133.1 million US dollars. This indicator has increased by 191.7% compared to January-February 2022. Particularly, in the first two months of last year, the export from Georgia to Armenia amounted to 45.620 million US dollars.
According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), in January-February 2023, the share of the ten largest trading partners by exports in the total export of Georgia amounted to 81.5 percent.
The list of the top 10 products, which in January-February 2023 were exported from Georgia to Armenia in the largest quantity, looks like this:
• Light vehicles - $ 50,161,290;
• Automobiles designed to transport 10 or more people, including the driver - $ 19,450,010;
• Bulldozers, motor graders, excavators, rammers and others - $ 3,525,380;
• Flour and granules made from meat, fish or crustaceans - $ 3,390,020;
• Calculating machines and their blocks - $ 3,361,340;
• Trucks - $ 1,764,480;
• Fresh or dried citrus fruits - $ 1,598,750;
• Waters, including mineral and damaged waters, containing sugar additives - $ 1,588,350;
• Products made of gypsum or mixtures made on its basis - $ 1,582,230;
• Medicinal products packaged - $ 1,482,510.
