In 10 months of 2022, goods worth of $715 million were exported from Georgia to the EU, which is 32% more than the previous year. According to the report published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), this is the highest indicator of Georgian exports to the EU. Consequently, in 10 months of the current year, the share of the EU countries in Georgia's exports is up to 16%.
By years (10 months), exports to the EU varied as follows: 2017 - $528 million, 2018 - $584 million; 2019 - $651 million; 2020 - $557 million; 2021 - $539 million; 2022 - $715 million.
In monetary terms, copper ores and concentrates ranked 1st in this year's exports, which amount to $363 million. Compared to the previous year, this amount has increased by 67%. However, it is important to note that most of the exports of these goods are actually re-exports.
The export of nuts ranked 2nd, which increased by 28% compared to the previous year. According to the GEOSTAT report, the export of clothes made in Georgia to the European Union increased at the highest rate - by 645%, reaching $15 million.

Imports from the EU changed as follows by year (10 months): 2017 - $1.73 billion, 2018 - $2 billion; 2019 - $1.88 billion; 2020 - $1.5 billion; 2021 - $1.84 billion; 2022 - $2.4 billion.
