
“This year, the trade turnover between Georgia and Hungary has doubled, this emphasizes the intensified economic relations between the two countries,” - the Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili, said. According to him, after long negotiations, an agreement on the protection of investments was signed between Georgia and Hungary, which would be officially approved upon “certain procedures”.
“I am sure the new strategic cooperation agreement will also contribute to further deepening of economic relations between the countries. Within the framework of the Georgian prime minister Irakli Gharibashvili’s official visit to Hungary, a bilateral economic commission will be held to discuss various directions of cooperation,” - Levan Davitashvili stated.
