The United States ranks 1st in Georgia's exports of ferro-alloys

Exports of ferro-alloys from Georgia almost doubled to $ 100 million. The largest export market is the United States, where products worth $ 36 million were sold within 2 months, followed by Russia with $ 33 million and Turkey with $ 10.6 million.

This indicator is higher than that one observed before the pandemic, in January-February 2019, when the total exports amounted to $ 42.4 million. The share of ferro-alloys in the export basket has increased from 10.6% to 13.2% within one year.

The export markets include Ukraine (with $ 7.8 million), Italy (with $ 3.6 million), France (with $ 3.1 million), Spain (with $ 1.6 million), Venezuela (with $ 0.5 million), Norway (with $ 0.4 million), Moldova (with $ 0.3 million), Switzerland (with $ 0.13 million).
