
Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, is holding meetings with the representatives of the government delegations of the countries participating in the exhibition, international tourism agencies and airlines as part of the leading World Travel Market London events in Great Britain. This year, together with the Georgian National Tourism Administration, the representatives of 10 tourism companies, the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Adjara, the Tbilisi City Hall and the Destination Management Organization-Imereti - were introduced to the WTM event.
"We continue to introduce Georgia's tourism potential to international partners. At the London exhibition, Georgia, as an interesting tourist destination, was in the spotlight. I am sure that the successful participation in this exhibition will contribute to the further strengthening and restoration of the tourism and civil aviation sectors of Georgia," said the Deputy Minister.
London's international tourist exhibition is one of the largest in the world. This year it has been held for the 43rd time. The exhibition hosts hospitality, aviation, transport, travel technology and other field professionals from different countries globally. Exhibitors have the opportunity to introduce tourism products and destinations to business representatives in the format of B2B meetings. The exhibition has more than 51 thousand visitors. About 5000 companies are presented at the WTM.
More than 70 Tourism Ministers and Heads of tourism organizations from different countries attend the exhibition every year. 3 thousand journalists cover one of the biggest exhibitions in the world.
