The sectoral economy and economic policy committee supported the ratification of the document of the agreement on air services between Georgia and Great Britain.
Mariam Kvrivishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, presented the agreement at the meeting of the committee.
,,This agreement is very important for the country, because it will be an additional incentive for the return and restoration of direct air traffic between the two countries, which in turn will have a positive impact on the country's tourism and economy.
The renewal of the agreement was caused by the United Kingdom leaving the European Union. Following this process, the United Kingdom began to review all bilateral agreements. The document signed between Georgia and the United Kingdom is based on liberal principles,” - Mariam Kvrivishvili said.
