According to US Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Georgian lawmakers should reconsider whether these actions reflect the wishes of their citizens. The Senator thus responded to the cancelation of visa regime and restoration of flights between Russia and Georgia.

“The Georgian people want a future that aligns with democracy and Europe, not a relationship with a country that unlawfully invaded and maintains control of 20% of their country. Georgian lawmakers should reconsider whether these actions reflect the wishes of their citizens”, the Senator tweeted.
