“I extend my congratulations to every citizen of our country on Georgia’s State Flag Day! The five-cross national flag of Georgia stands as the foremost symbol of our freedom, independence, unity, and strength,” he wrote.

Kavelashvili underscored the flag’s dual significance, stating, “Our nation’s five-cross flag is not only a symbol of statehood but also a tangible representation of national consciousness, pride, responsibility, and our ongoing struggle for freedom.”
