“The first small cargo terminal will be built in Kutaisi, Levan Davitashvili,” - the candidate for the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, said.
As Davitashvili mentioned, the general development plan of the Kutaisi airport will be completed this year.
"The general development plan of the Kutaisi airport will be completed in 2024. The plan development process is still ongoing. Also, the construction of the runway and the construction of a new platform to improve the capacity for aircrafts have started and will continue. This year, the first new small cargo terminal will be built in Kutaisi, and this will give us the opportunity to develop cargo operations," - Levan Davitashvili said.
