
The World Bank has published another report on the prospects of the global economy.
In 2023, the growth rate of the real economy of Georgia has increased by 0.4 percentage points. Among the countries surveyed by the bank, Georgia occupies the leading position in terms of economic growth throughout Europe, both in 2023 and in the forecast of 2023-2025.
According to the World Bank, the economy of Georgia will grow by 4.4% this year, and in the next two years it will show a stable growth of 5%.
„The economy of Georgia will grow by 4.4% this year, and next year and in 2025, this growth indicator will be at the level of 5%. Georgia is unique from this point of view. The economic policy based on peace and the support of the private sector allows the country to develop in the right direction and, I am sure, higher rates of economic growth will be recorded," - the Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia Mikheil Dondua said.
