Prices for ferroalloys continue to fall. According to Galt & Taggart, in November 2023, the European ferrosilicon price decreased by 0.3%, and the Chinese one - by 1.5%.
However, the 3.7% increase in the price of Chinese ferrosilicon recorded in September turned out to be a temporary adjustment at this stage and not a change in the price trend.
"The current year has turned out to be difficult for both raw materials - the European price has decreased by 32.4% since the beginning of the year, and the Chinese one - by 18.9%. Reduced international prices were reflected in the export of Georgian ferroalloys with an annual 68.0%-decrease," the review states.
In 10 months, ferroalloys worth $143.2 million were exported from Georgia.
